Manly Hydraulics Laboratory (MHL) provides specialist services in the areas of water, sewer, stormwater, irrigation, coastal and environmental solutions including physical and numerical modelling investigations and delivery of extensive data collection programs. MHL is a business unit within NSW Public Works, a Division of the NSW Office of Finance & Services. For more information click on Capabilities / Services or visit Who Are We.

The majority of data presented online by Manly Hydraulics Laboratory (MHL) has been collected under the NSW Coastal Data Network Program managed by Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH). For more information on coasts, estuaries and floods visit : environment.nsw.gov.au.
OEH works closely with local councils, Catchment Management Authorities and communities across the State to ensure the long-term protection, conservation and restoration of coastal, estuary and floodplain environments by reducing the risks posed by coastal hazards such as extreme tides, sea level rise and floods.
